Commentary
This book was prepared by Genjiro Okudo for operational training. The content is composed of three parts: "Everyone's Department", "Reduced Staff Department", and "Special Department".During practical training on the Meiji Maru, according to the daily routine of the mercantile marine school, when all the students are engaged at the same time, it is according to "all members".In addition, when part of the students are engaged, it depends on the "reduction of staff".The aim was to develop skills that can be adapted to the situation at a later date by practicing various changes and complicated techniques in the ``special department'' when the students' training has improved.Motojiro Okudo was born on April 2, 1849 in Makigahora, Kiyomi Village, Ono District, Hida Province. In 4, he became the first sailor of the Choyo ship crew.In 10, during the Seinan War, he sailed to Kagoshima. In 1868, he served in the Sino-Japanese War.In the days when the navy practiced on sailing boats, it is said that people in the navy also heard of Hozen no Okudo. In 10, he became a lecturer at the Merchant Marine School. In 1877, he became a merchant marine school teacher.27 (Meiji 1894) Requested dismissal. He passed away on July 33, 1900 at the age of 34.Genjiro Okudo loved the Meiji Maru so much that he was called the owner of the Meiji Maru.In 1901, he became the person in charge of changing the mooring of the Meiji Maru from Reiganjima to Etchujima, and his successful success was an event that I will never forget for the rest of my life.
