From May 2020, application guidelines and application documents will only be distributed on the web, and online applications are being implemented.
If you wish to apply to graduate school, please consult with the faculty member you wish to supervise in advance regarding your research plan and acceptance.
7 Student Recruitment Guidelines
The latest version of the application guidelines will be posted on the university website when the application guidelines are published below.If you are a government-sponsored or government-sponsored international student and apply using the application guidelines for the master's course or the doctoral course, please apply through your prospective academic advisor.

Security trade control
Based on the Foreign Exchange and Foreign Trade Act, Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology established the "National University Corporation Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology Security Export Control Regulations" to regulate the acceptance of foreign students from the perspective of providing technology and exporting goods. We conduct rigorous screening.If you fall under any of the regulated items, your desired research activities may be restricted or you may not be able to receive education. please.

Security export control
Pursuant to the Foreign Exchange and Foreign Trade Act in Japan, “TUMSAT Regulations for Security Export Control” is stipulated. Strict control with respect to transfer of technology and cargo export is required in admission screening of international students.
In caseregulated items or transactions are applicable, your designated research activities and education programs may be limited.
Please be aware of such restrictions and consult a prospective supervisor before applying.
