nimL consumption fuel ,[Scientific significance] "Hump" and "hollow" caused by wave-making resistance are predicted in shipbuilding engineering, and understanding of the phenomenon is progressing through water tank tests, but research cases on actual ships is not seen. This research is based on an epoch-making idea that utilizes these phenomena and connects them to energy-saving operations. [Research background] Previous studies have confirmed the relationship between the manifestation of these hydrodynamic phenomena and the fuel consumption of a 19-ton fishery research vessel. On the other hand, it has become clear that the methods that have been predicted in shipbuilding engineering cannot actually identify 'humps' and 'hollows'.The reasons for this include fouling of the hull and differences in loading conditions. Therefore, instead of predicting in advance, there is a need for technology that identifies the cruising conditions in real time while the ship is cruising. [Technical Problems] The principal investigators have found a basic method to analogize the cruising conditions such as ``hump'' and ``hollow'' from the results of monitoring the concept state based on the operation data of some small ships. However, due to the lack of cruising data, we have not been able to perform a sufficient evaluation with a view to social implementation. In addition, it has not been examined whether it can be applied to different ship types, tonnages, and main engines. This research grant collects fuel consumption, main engine speed, ship speed, and other sailing data from 19-ton and 3-ton small ships, and collects the basic data necessary for the development of detection methods for "humps" and "hollows." is created and analyzed. [Social implementation] This research has been carried out with the cooperation of the Kanagawa Prefectural Fisheries Technology Center, and in the process, we have received multiple inquiries for technical cooperation and social implementation from many companies and organizations. For this reason, it is considered that the industry's demand can be fully expected. In this study, we plan to conduct a survey on JG class fishing vessels of 20 tons or more, but for JCI vessels of less than 10 tons, we will conduct a research project A-STEP tryout of JST's research result development project "Fuel consumption based on discrimination between hump and hollow" Research and Development on Energy Saving Technology” (Problem number: JPMJTM22BG).Establishment of basic technology to realize energy-saving operation of ships at ultra-low cost The research representative member "Hump" causes a phenomenon in which fuel consumption increases by as much as 0.1% with a difference of only 18knot. Recognizing and skillfully avoiding 'humps' can reduce wasted fuel consumption.Fig. 11 Relationship between fuel consumption and ship speed Hiroyasu Kifune (Marine Electronics and Mechanical Engineering Division) Kazunori Hiraga, a graduate student, Seiya Kondo, a student at the Kurihara Faculty of Engineering Implementation system hump status 2/4.03.02.01.00.005% increase 101520253018.Acquisition of marine big data, promotion of AI analysis research (XNUMX) Development of technology for detecting fuel-efficient navigation conditions for fishing boats, focusing on wave-making resistance interference
