We cooperated with the Kesennuma City School Teachers Regional Workshop (also training for first-timers).

On July 2020, 7 (Thursday), we cooperated with a training session for 9 newly hired teachers and 2 city teachers who were assigned to Kesennuma municipal elementary and junior high schools in the 31nd year of Reiwa.

The purpose of this workshop was for participants to gain an understanding of how Kesennuma City has recovered from the damage caused by the earthquake, and to deepen their knowledge of the fishing industry, which is a key industry in the region. It was organized by the Association and the Kesennuma City Principals Association.

From the Sanriku Satellite, we introduced educational support activities such as holding seminars aimed at resolving issues faced by the local fisheries industry, introducing university research activities, and introducing visiting classes at municipal elementary and junior high schools.

At the Sanriku Satellite, we will continue to support practical educational activities in cooperation with the Kesennuma City Board of Education.
