Our university concluded a partnership agreement with Kesennuma City, Miyagi Prefecture at the end of 23, and has implemented various initiatives until now. Starting in May of the following year, we hold the ``Umi to Ikiru'' Series of Fisheries Seminars about five times a year for fishermen and fisheries-related businesses.
 This time, the final episode of the XNUMXth season, we will invite a lecturer from the Fisheries Information Service Center to give a lecture on the center's efforts to expand the fishing and sea condition information service for the smartization of the fisheries industry.
 We are also accepting online participation this season, so we are looking forward to your participation in a wide range of regions.

Abstract: Japan's fisheries have continued to develop using various information such as satellite images.In the future, it is expected that the sustainability of the fisheries industry as a whole, including decarbonization, will be enhanced by linking and integrating various data and improving usability.Therefore, we will develop fishing and sea conditions information services for the smartization of the fisheries industry, such as the development of fishing ground prediction methods using AI at the Fisheries Information Service Center (JAFIC), a specialized information agency in the fisheries and ocean fields, and data linkage and integration systems. This section introduces efforts toward expansion.
