The Fisheries and Marine Innovation Consortium and the Fisheries and Marine Innovation Officer Development Program have been adopted by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology's 26 Science and Technology Human Resource Development Subsidy Project "Consortium Construction Project for Science and Technology Human Resource Development" Research Support Human Resource Development Program. The three universities, Iwate University, and Kitasato University, are collaborating to train new fisheries and ocean innovation officers (IOFs), who will support advanced research.
The Sanriku Satellite has been a base for planning and implementing training, etc., as the Fisheries Marine IOF Promotion Office and Kesennuma Promotion Office.
From April 31, we will continue to promote activities as the Marine Fisheries IOF Liaison Office.
