Minato Ward Odaiba Gakuen (Koyo Junior High School) is located close to the sea of ??Odaiba, and is a school that actively engages in marine-themed "environmental studies." As part of this, the school collaborated with the Ship Science Museum (Japan Maritime Science Foundation).

In the Marine Science Museum Study Room, Professor Uchida gave a lecture using photos and videos on how to conduct actual marine surveys and the results of the surveys. The lecture not only focused on the topic of "microplastics," but also made students realize the need to have a broad perspective on the ocean, the global environment, and the society that surrounds us. After the lecture, students were seen asking a variety of questions and actively learning.
