Announcement of the 65th Umitaka Festival (11/2-11/4)
The Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology, Shinagawa Campus will be holding the university festival, Umitaka Festival, from November 11nd (Sat) to 2th (Mon).
This year's theme is "Remember Sea."
It is our hope that the Umitaka Festival will remind people that the sea is always watching over us and embracing us, and that we will never forget to be grateful.
The 65th Umitaka Festival is set to be even bigger than last year, with many seafood-based foods on sale.
In addition, the results of students' extracurricular activities will be made available to the public, including exhibitions, research presentations and sales of goods by extracurricular activity groups, a special public opening of the Marine Science Museum and Whale Gallery by students aspiring to become curators, and a tuna cutting demonstration.
In addition, we have plans to have as many people as possible experience the charm of our school and experience the fish and the sea in a more general way, including stage performances by our visiting professor "Sakan-kun," university groups and guests, and the handmade event "Umitaka Marche."
We look forward to seeing you all there.
