Umitaka Maru 72nd Voyage (Ocean Voyage) Returning Ceremony was held

 Umitakamaru is Reiwa5Years11Month24The vessel departed from the Toyomi Fisheries Pier on Sunday (Friday) and returned to the same pier after spending approximately three months on a training cruise, an observation cruise, and a Southern Ocean observation cruise based on the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology's "Antarctic Area Research Project."

 At the return ceremony, President Toshio Iseki expressed his gratitude for the long voyage, followed by Captain Toshifumi Hayashi's report on the status of the long voyage. After the ceremony, in a peaceful atmosphere, students from the Department of Marine Science gathered together with President Iseki, Captain Hayashi, and Director of the Ship and Ocean Operations Center Seiwa Minami.31A commemorative photo was taken with the names.
