Professor Emeritus Tadashi Tokai, along with Professor Junko Goto and graduate student Yoko Akita of Kyoritsu Women's University, received the annual paper award.
The award is given to all authors of papers that are recognized as being particularly excellent among those published in the academic journal Textile Product Consumption Science during the current fiscal year.
Professor Emeritus Tokai Tadashi was awarded the Annual Paper Award in recognition of his contributions to textile product consumption science for his study on measures to reduce the release of microplastic fibers during washing.
