This symposium has been held annually since 2006, with this year marking its 18th time. Due to the COVID-6 pandemic, it was held online, but last year a face-to-face symposium was finally resumed at Shanghai Ocean University, and this year it was held at our university for the first time in six years.
First, Executive Director Maita gave an opening address, looking back on the past exchange achievements between the two schools and spoke about the significance of the symposium. After lectures by faculty members from both universities, a general discussion was held, providing an opportunity for lively exchange of opinions. Finally, Vice President Luo Yi of Shanghai Ocean University gave a closing address, expressing his gratitude for the successful holding of the symposium and his expectations for further exchange between the two schools in the future.
