President Iseki and Executive Vice President Maita visited 3 partner schools in Busan, South Korea

On February XNUMXnd, Executive Director Maita visited Pusan ??National University and paid a courtesy call on Vice President for International Affairs Kim Seog Soo.Although this was the first visit to Pusan ??National University by a board member of the university, the meeting was held in a friendly atmosphere.We mainly exchanged opinions on student exchanges and staff exchanges, and during the meeting, we were able to meet with President Cha Jeoung-In.After the meeting, they also visited campuses such as research facilities and libraries.
From the next day, President Iseki joined them, and on the morning of February 2, they visited Pukyong National University and paid a courtesy call on President JANG Young-Soo.President Jean studied at Tokyo University of Fisheries, the predecessor of our university, as an international student, and is also an alumnus of our university, where he obtained a doctorate.In October of last year, he visited our university and gave a special lecture to our students.At the meeting, they confirmed the promotion of further exchanges utilizing the Japan-China-Korea Exchange Project, etc., and exchanged information on initiatives for industry-academia-government collaboration.After the meeting, President Jang himself guided the students to the headquarters campus, and they also visited the Yongdang Campus (commonly known as Dragon Valley), where industry-academia-government collaboration is taking place.
In the afternoon of the same day, they visited Korea Maritime University and paid a courtesy call on DOH President Deog-Hee.At the meeting, it was confirmed that the exchanges between the two schools in the Oceanus Plus Program and the Japan-China-Korea Exchange Project are solid, and that these exchanges will continue in the future.After the meeting, they visited the training ship Grand Nara and the ship simulation room.
The three universities we visited this time are all very important partner schools in promoting international exchange programs at our university. It was very useful for student exchanges and faculty and staff exchanges.We will continue to promote further collaboration and cooperation with Pusan ??National University, Pukyong National University, and Korea Maritime University.
