[Summary/Results]

 In September, Momchil Terziev, a researcher at the University of Strathclyde in the UK, visited the Etchujima campus. Researcher Momchil is conducting research on the theme of "Improving the efficiency and safety of offshore structures through hydrodynamics."Additionally, he and Associate Professor Toshimasa Aso of the Distribution Information Engineering Department are currently conducting joint research on the development of a measurement platform.The purpose of this visit to Japan was to tour the university's advanced equipment and discuss how to use it.

 On September 9th, we toured the ship navigation performance test tank.After the tour, Professor Kiyokazu Minami of the Maritime Systems Engineering Department and Associate Professor Mitsuhiro Masuda of the same department held a meeting regarding the use of this facility and exchanged opinions regarding this research. On September 12th, the students took a test drive on the university's battery-propelled vessel (Raichou I), and then exchanged opinions regarding this research with Professor Etsuro Shimizu of the Department of Marine Electronics and Mechanical Engineering.
