On November 5, 11, Minister-Counselor Shu Gakka visited our university together with Counselor Hong Zhijie and Second Secretary Zhang Xingwei to give greetings on his arrival in Japan.

　From our university, we were welcomed by President Toshio Iseki, Director and Vice President for Education and International Affairs Masashi Maida, and Vice President for Industry-Academia Collaboration and Innovation Creation Mr. Lou Konami. A lively exchange of opinions took place regarding the implementation of symposiums and the promotion of joint research.Minister-Counselor Shuk agrees with our university's emphasis on exchanges with overseas universities in terms of both human resource development and research. He stated that matching is also important and that he would like to support smooth communication for this purpose.

　This visit was a meaningful opportunity for our university, as we were able to reaffirm the possibility that we will continue to have active people-to-people exchanges with Chinese universities in the future, as we did before the coronavirus pandemic.
