This visit was made possible because our university, which is a partner university, was selected as the destination for a science program conducted by the university and its affiliated schools.
The students first received an overview of the university from Professor Kazushi Osako (Department of Food Production Science), and then a Thai student who works in his laboratory.3There was a lab guide in Thai based on the names of the students. Afterwards, the group toured the Marine Science Museum and Library.
The students seemed to be very interested in our university, listening intently to the explanations from faculty and staff and Thai students, and actively asking questions. Additionally, one Japanese student who was scheduled to be sent to Thailand as part of an overseas expedition also participated, and through interacting with the visitors, he was excited about being sent to Thailand.
Our university will continue to cherish our ties with partner schools and cooperate in the development of global human resources.
