On February 5, 2, President SUN Yuqing of Dalian Maritime University in China and his delegation visited our university.

　After the meeting, we observed a demonstration of the latest technology based on research based on three-dimensional center of gravity detection (D3DCG: Detection of Three Dimensional Center of Gravity) by a student from the same university who belongs to Professor Watanabe's laboratory.This student's research won second place in the Japan Student Safety Technology Design Competition sponsored by the Society of Automotive Engineers of Japan, and has been selected to represent Japan in the world competition to be held in April. encouraged the students to expect further development of their research under the guidance of Professor Watanabe.
