 Following President Iseki's opening remarks, each participant introduced themselves, introducing their mutual relationships with the universities and their current research themes. This exchange event reminded us that our university's former international students are active as excellent faculty members at Korea's leading educational and research institutions. It was a great opportunity for Japanese students to gain information on program content and life, and to enrich their study abroad life in Korea by interacting with local students and alumni of Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology.  To date, many international students have completed their studies at Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology and are active in various fields as a bridge between the two countries. Our university also actively engages in two-way exchanges with Korean universities through Oceanus Plus and student exchange programs. We plan to expand our university's international network by continuing exchange activities with former international students involved with our university, such as this social gathering.
