Reiwa5Years4?20From Abu Dhabi Maritime Academy, United Arab Emirates, Captain Varun Rawat, Senior Lecturer Wilfredo Yutuk and others1staff visited our university.

Abu Dhabi Maritime Academy aims to provide students with state-of-the-art infrastructure, education and practical training in order to develop human resources involved in the maritime field. The purpose of the survey was to investigate maritime education and related facilities at the university, as well as the future vision of maritime education, in order to advance research and development and promote international collaboration.

At the Etchujima Campus, the delegation met with Shinichi Motoda, Dean of Marine Engineering, and Naoyuki Takagi, Professor (Department of Maritime System Engineering), and actively exchanged information on maritime education being promoted at both institutions.After the discussion, they moved to the ship operation performance experiment tank, where they received a demonstration and explanation by Assistant Professor Yutaro Sasahara (Maritime System Engineering Department), and then enthusiastically asked questions about the facility and exchanged opinions.

This kind of exchange is extremely beneficial for our university, which is promoting the development of highly specialized professionals with the ability to solve global problems. We will continue to promote international exchange in the field of maritime affairs as the only marine university in Japan. We will actively promote this.
