Background of recruitment

Our laboratory conducts research on molecular genetics and breeding of farmed fish.
We are looking for a postdoctoral fellow to promote this research.

Duties

(1) Research on genome analysis of farmed fish using next-generation sequencers
(2) Research on superior traits of farmed fish using SNP etc.
(3) Research on the development of molecular genetic breeding technology for farmed fish

Qualifications

?Have a doctoral degree as of April 6, 4
?Have a research history in the field of fisheries or genetic breeding.
?Experience working with Perl or C++ is desirable

Employment period

As soon as possible after June 6, 4 to March 1, 7

Screening method

After screening the documents, we will interview the successful applicants and make the final decision.
The date and time of the interview will be notified separately to those who have passed the document screening.
(Scheduled interview date:1(from late March to early February)
Applicants will be responsible for transportation expenses for the selection process.

Salary, etc.

Hourly wage 2,104 yen to 2,346 yen (determined by career etc.)
Allowance: Commuting allowance (paid only when requirements are met)
Insurance: Social insurance (health insurance, welfare pension), employment insurance, industrial accident insurance

Working hours, etc.

(1) Working days: 4 or 5 days from Monday to Friday

(2) Working hours: 8:00-17:30 (including 6-7.5 hours of work)  
  (Break time 12:00-13:00)

(3) Holidays: Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, year-end and New Year holidays, and other days determined by the president
