Duties

You will work on board the university's training ship as a staff member (for a maximum of three consecutive months), and your duties will include preparing school lunches for faculty, staff, students, etc.

Qualifications

Those who are qualified as cooks or ship chefs.Or a person who can acquire qualifications in the future.

However, the following persons cannot apply.

  1. A person who has been sentenced to imprisonment or a heavier punishment and has completed the execution of the sentence, or is on a suspended period of execution of the sentence, or has not yet been subject to the execution of the sentence.
  2. A person who has been subject to disciplinary dismissal or equivalent disposition, and two years have not passed since the date of the disposition.


Foreign nationals are limited to those with a status of residence that does not restrict their activities in Japan.Must have sufficient Japanese language ability to work on a training ship.
