Qualifications

1 Japanese nationals 

 (Must have sufficient Japanese proficiency to work on a training ship)

2 Must have a university (bachelor's) degree or higher in Japan or a foreign country

3 Qualified as third-class marine engineer (engine) or higher

4 It is desirable to have a history of boarding training ships and research ships.
