Qualifications

1 Japanese nationals

　(Must have sufficient Japanese proficiency to work on a training ship)

2 Must have a university (bachelor's) degree or higher in Japan or a foreign country

3 Qualified as third-class marine engineer (engine) or higher

4. Experience on a training ship or research vessel is preferred

5 Those who are interested in ships and the ocean, and who are enthusiastic about education and research

However, the following persons cannot apply.

1. A person who has been sentenced to imprisonment or more and has not yet completed the sentence, or who is currently on a suspended sentence.
   Other persons until they are no longer subject to execution
2. Those who have received disciplinary dismissal or equivalent punishment
   Those who have not yet passed two years since the date of the disposition
3. Those who do not have a status of residence with no restrictions on activities in Japan

Salary

Salary rules for university staff apply (calculated based on career history)

Monthly salary: Starting salary　331,200Yen (for university graduates, including regional allowance)

1 Primary screening: document screening

2. Second selection: "Essay" and "Interview" (A second selection will be conducted for those who pass the first selection)

*The essay topic will be announced along with the notification of successful applicants for the first round of selection.
(The second selection isWebex\WebInterviews will be conducted. The communication costs for the interview will be borne by the applicant.
The cost will be borne by the person concerned. The date and time will be decided after contacting the person concerned.)
