Duties

They will work on board our university's training ship as navigators, and their duties will include navigational watch, anchorage watch, port entry and exit operations, instruction for trainees, and general shipboard administrative duties.

*We may order you to relocate as necessary for work.

Qualifications

1. Those who have Japanese nationality
 Foreign nationals must have a residence status that does not restrict their activities in Japan. They must have a level of Japanese language proficiency that does not impede their work on the training ship.
2. Graduate from a university in Japan or a foreign country and hold a bachelor's degree or higher
3. Have a qualification of XNUMXrd class marine engineer (navigation) or higher
4. Those who have obtained a first-class maritime special radio operator license or have passed the third-class maritime communication written examination
5. It is preferable that the applicant has a ship sanitation officer qualification or has acquired the necessary course credits to obtain a ship sanitation officer qualification.
6. People who are interested in ships and the ocean and have a passion for education and research

Salary

Salary rules for university staff apply (calculated based on career history)

Monthly salary: Starting salary 295,320 yen (for university graduates. Regional allowance included.)
