On February 2020, 2 (Saturday), the 15nd “Live with the Sea” Continuous Fisheries Seminar this season was held at the Kesennuma Fish Market Conference Room (Kesennuma Fish Market 2F).
Mr. Hideo Tabata, chairman of Idea Co., Ltd. and chairman of the university's alumni association "Rakusuikai", was invited as a lecturer to give a lecture on "Environmental Technology and the Fisheries Industry" - Opportunities for Engagement in Environmental Business and the Need for Environmental Consultants - I had a lecture on the theme.
In 1962 (S42), since the Basic Law for Environmental Pollution Control was enacted, environmental issues have been emphasized. , prediction of future marine environmental problems and marine resources using AI technology, and smart coastal fisheries using ICT (“visualization” of fishing grounds), etc. Thank you for the explanation.
A questionnaire survey was conducted on the day of the event, and responses were received from the participants.
Among the impressions, there were many opinions that it was good to be able to hear actual examples in detail about the relationship between the sea and the environment.In addition, cooperation with universities is an opportunity to obtain information and issues in the fishery industry as soon as possible, so we were grateful to have them continue in the future.
