Until now, the National University Corporation Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology has fulfilled its social mission to realize gender equality in all fields related to the ocean as a Japanese higher education research institute that is in a leading position in the world's ocean conservation and utilization. Under the motto, "Know the ocean, protect the ocean, and use the ocean," as Japan's only university specializing in the ocean, we strive to achieve results in human resource development and academic research, and to fulfill our responsibilities to the people, regardless of gender.
