Those who belong to Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology, such as students, graduate students, post-docs, faculty and staff who aim to become female researchers engaged in ocean utilization research.

our main activity is

• Support for balancing life events and research and education for female researchers to continue research and education

• Creating an environment that allows for harmony between research education and life (work-life balance)
• Expanding the base of female researchers

I'm in charge of public relations for Office Umi Nami.

For the purpose of recognizing our activities, the Organization for Female Researchers named the department name "Umi Nami" and created a mascot character "Minami".We are actively developing information dissemination through PR activities to make it more familiar as a familiar activity, such as creating information dissemination materials and various tools with designs that make use of characters.
