With the changes in society, we have entered an era in which it is necessary to create a system that allows researchers to continue their research while giving birth and raising children. "Gender equality" is one of the important issues in modern society where diversity is required.It goes without saying that mothers are not the only ones responsible for raising children.
Therefore, in this seminar on child-rearing support, I would like to ask professors who are ikumen at our university to talk about their experiences of struggling to balance education and research, and to think about the necessity of supporting work-life balance from a broader perspective. I would like to take this opportunity.
