2015.02.27
From 2015:1 to 28:12 on January 10, 12 (Wednesday), we held a date DV prevention home delivery lecture "Understanding date DV from scratch" at the meeting room on the 50st floor of Etchujima Kaikan, Etchujima Campus, Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology. .
This seminar is an introductory course to learn from experts, and is hosted by the Koto Ward Gender Equality Center and the Human Resources Division, Student Service Division, Gender Equality Promotion Office, Organization for Supporting Female Researchers, for students, faculty, and staff of the university. Did.
Inviting a dating DV prevention program facilitator as a lecturer, we learned from understanding basic knowledge about DV (domestic violence, violence between couples) and dating DV (violence between partners).First of all, it was a program in which we learned about the concept of human rights, which recognizes each other as human beings, and confirmed the essence of DV one by one by giving specific examples. The lecture was also very easy to understand.
During the lecture, two participants also performed a role-play of a conversation scene on a date.Through this, I learned that there is an unconscious gender bias and division of roles in daily life. The lecturer commented, "It is important to be 'aware' and 'aware' of DV problems. Knowing yourself and the people around you will lead to DV prevention."
It was a lunch time seminar, so the lecture was very short, but the participating students and faculty members listened intently to the lecturer while having lunch.
Participants commented, ``I learned that DV includes verbal and psychological violence,'' and ``I thought I understood vaguely, but there were many things I learned for the first time in this course, so both men and women learned about dating DV. I felt that it was important to know aboutThe Gender Equality Promotion Office plans to continue holding dating DV prevention lectures in the future.
