<<Overview of Initiatives

In February 23, the Japan Association of National Universities formulated the ``Promotion of Gender Equality at National Universities - Action Plan-,'' stating that ``at least by 2011, the percentage of female faculty members at national universities will be 2% or higher.'' We set targets for achieving these targets, and conduct annual follow-up surveys to verify the progress of these targets.
