On April 2013, 4 (Thursday), the "Career Path Seminar for Female Students" was held at the Etchujima Campus (Etchujima Kaikan 25F Seminar Room), mainly for undergraduate and graduate students.
This time, with the cooperation of the Japan Ship Machinery and Equipment Association, we invited female seniors who have graduated from our university who are active in the marine industry to give lectures.With the aim of providing female students with a reference when thinking about their own future, we have prepared a series of lectures on "current job," "job hunting," "making use of one's career to get a job," and "women's role in society." Many participants, including undergraduate and graduate students who have started job hunting, and students who are thinking about their future after graduation, listened intently to the seniors' lectures.In the second half, we were divided into several groups and held a free talk-style gathering where we could ask questions directly to our seniors.It was a lively talk time with various questions that he could not usually ask, from job hunting to work content and lifestyle.
