11/3-5 Opened "Penguin Room" at Umitaka Festival

University festival at Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology Shinagawa Campus (Faculty of Marine Life Sciences/Faculty of Marine Resources and Environment) for 2017 days from November 11rd (Friday) to 3th (Sunday), 5"Umitakasai"was held.During the event, we opened the "Penguin Room" in our Shinagawa office near the sea as a space for breastfeeding, changing diapers, and a playroom for infants.
It was crowded with people living nearby and graduates.There were many people with small children, and the "Penguin Room" was also used by a large number of people. There were 3 users in 134 days. While many said, "It was really helpful to have a space where you can change diapers," there were also visitors who expected real penguins.
