11/2-4 Opened "Penguin Room" at Umitaka Festival

University festival at Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology Shinagawa Campus (Faculty of Marine Life Science/Faculty of Marine Resources and Environment) for three days from Saturday, November 2019nd to Monday, November 11th, 2"Umitakasai"was held.During the event, we opened the "Penguin Room" in our Shinagawa office near the sea as a space for breastfeeding, changing diapers, and a playroom for infants.
It was very crowded with people living in the neighborhood and graduates.There were many visitors with small children, and the "Penguin Room" was also used by a large number of people. There were 3 users in 393 days. Many people commented, "It was helpful to have a space where I could breastfeed and change diapers."
