A lecture by Mr. Hiroki Watanabe, FAO Senior Fisheries Specialist, was held by the Career Development Office.

On January 1th, the Career Development Office sponsored (Global Human Resource Development Promotion Office, Rakusuikai General Incorporated Association support),

"Lecture - For Job Hunting"was held.

DSC00270.JPGWe invited Dr. Hiroki Watanabe, Senior Fisheries Specialist, Fisheries and Aquaculture Department, FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations), to discuss the organization and activities of FAO and the Fisheries and Aquaculture Department, as well as information on how to get a job at a UN agency and be active internationally. You talked about your concerns.

About 80 people, mainly undergraduate and graduate students, visited the venue.In the Q&A session after the lecture, the students asked various questions about employment and careers, and the lecturers answered them carefully.

Many people responded to the questionnaire after the lecture that it was very helpful, and it was a very fruitful lecture.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Dr. Hiroki Watanabe for his lecture, Suisan Keizai Shimbun for providing the materials distributed on the day, and to all those who cooperated.
