Organization for Women Researchers Kick-off Symposium will be held

The gender equality promotion project at Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology started in fiscal 2010, when the Gender Equality Action Declaration was made. We are preparing.Furthermore, in September of the same year, it was selected as an organization for the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology's "Female Researcher Research Activity Support" project (FY2011). It was designated as a kick-off symposium of the Researcher Support Organization.

　The symposium began with a keynote speech on the overall picture of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology's "Support Activities for Female Researchers in the Gender Equality Project", followed by a lecture by a faculty member of the university to deepen their understanding of gender equality. Finally, I would like to take this opportunity to think about how gender equality projects should be at our university based on the current situation.I intend to use the discussion here as a reference for future activities of the Organization for Women Researchers.We look forward to your participation.
