12/2 Minato-ku date DV prevention home delivery lecture was held.
2013.12.11
On December 2013, 12 (Monday) from 2:12 to 10:12, we held a date DV prevention home delivery lecture "Understanding date DV from scratch" at the lecture room on the 50st floor of Shiratakakan, Shinagawa Campus, Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology. .
This seminar was held as an introductory course in cooperation with Minato Ward as a visiting lecture by inviting experts. conducted for students, faculty and staff of Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology.
Inviting a date DV prevention program facilitator as a lecturer, as an introductory course to learn about dating DV from scratch, basic knowledge about DV (domestic violence, violence between couples) and dating DV (violence between partners) I learned from what I understood.First of all, it was a program in which participants learned about the concept of human rights, which recognizes each other as human beings, and confirmed the essence of DV one by one by citing many specific examples. The lecture was also very easy to understand.
In addition, the lecturer commented, "It is important to 'aware' of DV problems, and knowing yourself and the people around you will lead to DV prevention."
Since it was a lunchtime seminar, it was a very short lecture, but students and faculty members listened intently to the lecturer while having lunch.
The participants knew the term dating DV, so I thought I understood the content, but there were many things I understood for the first time in this course. There was an opinion that it was a great learning experience because they had never had an opportunity to learn from the basics like this before.
The Gender Equality Promotion Office plans to continue holding dating DV prevention lectures in the future.
