11/2-4 "Penguin Room" opened at Umitaka Festival

The Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology Shinagawa Campus will be hosting the university festival "UmitakasaiDuring the event, we opened a "Penguin Room" in our seaside Shinagawa office as a space for breastfeeding, diaper changing, and a temporary rest area for infants and young children.
Unfortunately it rained on the first day, but as this year was a three-day weekend, the weather was fine over the two days and the event was very lively, with local residents and alumni attending.
Many visitors came with small children, and the Penguin Room was used by a huge number of people, with 3 people using it over the three days. Many people commented that it was very helpful to have a place to breastfeed, change diapers, and take a rest.
