On July 2019, 7 (Friday), the first “Career Path Seminar for Female Students” was held at the Etchujima Campus (Etchujima Kaikan 26nd Floor Seminar Room).This is the 12th time this event has been held for female students who want to learn about and work on the sea.We invite graduates who are engaged in marine and maritime-related work, and hold a two-part conference consisting of a mini lecture and a social gathering every year on the open campus of the Faculty of Ocean Engineering. Under the theme of "Studying at Ocean University, you can see how you can play an active role in society", the content introduces the reasons for entering the university, campus life, career paths after graduation, and jobs. In the senior lectures in the first half, three graduates of the Faculty of Marine Engineering (Azusa Kuratome from the Japan Weather Association, Fumika Kitazawa from MOL Marine, and Orie Kobayashi from IHI Power Systems) gave us lectures. I was.
